Tami! Hi, I see you posted a couple of days ago so I'm hoping maybe you'll see this. I miss you. Tell me the best way to get in touch with you these days. It's been WAY too long and I can't stand it!
Have never read any Henry James and would like to - looking on Shelfari I see you've read a couple, do you have a favorite? Thanks! Hope all is well!
Would love to hear your thoughts on Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - it has a lot of hype on Amazon and am thinking about going as far to buy a NEW copy!
read Brisinger. it is the best book ever!!!!!!!!!!!
Wiill add to our list. Didn't see til today...oops...but will put on list and send out. I think we will have a few others to add after Friday.
Hi Tam, Thanks for the beautiful Banks book. It looks great. I'm going to start it as soon as I finish The Interior, which I'm really enjoying. I'm reading so slowly these days, I'm not sure how I'm ever going to get through the stack of books you sent home with me. Especially when you add to the stack. Maybe after the election I'll channel all this poll watching and blog reading into good old fashioned book reading.
Got Betsy's new address email today. Did Craig get a new job? I have lost touch with them but thought you might know. Do you ever hear from Sherry Ferlan anymore either? I don't. Well maybe once every six months but it has been about that long.

Guess this bookclub is not working out so well for you. Lol. Discussions are good. Usually we have all read book and trying good spots for dinner. I won't be there in July as will be on my way to Iowa again for the week long RAGBRAI. Also doing STP in one day this year...wooo hooo.
Tami - book this month is Peyton Place by Grace Metalius - I forgot to send out. And I know I said I would not change the date but a few in the group want to switch it to the third Friday this month. Does that work for you?
What kind of volunteering do you do? I was a Girl Scout leader for 10 years, a PTA president, and a Junior Achievement volunteer. Now I visit the elderly and those in hospitals and prisons.
Hope you can make it Friday...wasn't it you that thought Friday's were good????...lol. I don't think we have had one meeting with everyone there....but it is low stress so....come when you can. I won't be there in July..but do plan on May and June. Am training for one day STP right now..riding is my life!!!
Hi Tamian,I'm the moderator for Play Book Tag, and I'm here on official business - - to welcome you and to thank you for joining! I must admit though that I'm totally sidetracked by the fact that you have Chip Kidd's novel on your shelf. It looked like you liked it. I saw Chip Kidd speak in March, and I can't tell you how FABULOUS he was as a speaker. Totally engaging and charming. I want to buy all his books now . . .but haven't even gotten one yet. Did you enjoy the book? At any rate, you may have noticed that we are reading fantasy this month at Play Book Tag. We'd love for you to read with us this month, but if you don't have time that's perfectly fine. Feel free to chime in on any discussions, and we'll announce our next tag on May 1st! If you do read a fantasy book, be sure to post it in the discussion entitled "Our Collective Reads" - - we'd love to know what you read and how you like it! Thanks agin for joining us. best, Anita
Good, I'm glad Club Duman is a good read b/c I received it from PaperBackSwap and am excited to dive in. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) I just started The Count of Monte Cristo so I will be wee bit sidetracked for a while....Thanks for the friendship! Take care, Vanessa
We will miss you on Friday. Enjoy your birthday. Life does begin at 40!!!!!
You have a great shelf! So much interesting stuff I've never heard of. I just this AM finished Icelander and you were one of the three members listed as having read. Would you mind "friending," as I would like to come back and get some reading ideas from your shelf. I saw "The Club Dumas" and that looks interesting...do you suggest it? Thanks! - Vanessa
Sorry but moving date did not work for hardly anyone.
I will check with everyone to see if the next week works. I think my sister is heading out for Spring Break but not sure. Does the 28th work for you? Kris
