Hi, Tamara. I read your review of A Cousin's Prayer. I realize this is the first Amish book that you've read. I saw you didn't care for it. Don't let it color the way you think about the entire Amish genre. You should try reading a Cindy Woodsmall novel. I think she's a better writer than Brunstetter....much better. Here's my own review of A Cousin's Prayer, and I've also included my review of Cindy's novel.

You can announce it as a new blog post. I don't know how to do a broad announcement here like they have at goodreads.

    Hi Tamara,
I just wanted to tell you that I am in the middle of the first book in The Californians series, and I have ordered the rest of the set from Amazon. Judging from what I have already read, I encourage you to read at least the first one and see what you think. I will be laid up from back surgery for quite a while, so I don't think it will take me long to read all of them. Have a good day!

Congratulations on being a new author. I see we have 9 books in common. I like Francine Rivers very much and just discovered Lori Wick. Plan to read more of hers. --Karen Arlettaz Zemek, author of "My Funny Dad, Harry"
