I've just started a new group - The Theology of G C Berkouwer - and wondered if you might like to join it. My work on Berkouwer can be found at http://theologyofgcberkouwer.blogspot.com and http://charlescameron.wordpress.com

Thanx for browsing my page... :).
I'm lucky I could make "a page" here, because I'm very busy with school... I'm still a student, and I have so much work to do... That's why I accepted you as a friend after 4 days, I didn't open my computer since august...

Thanks, Larry K, for your comment. I especially appreciate your unpressurizing tone: "Check in FROM TIME TO TIME and make a comment or post a topic WHEN YOU HAVE TIME."

I have been rather busier than usual for the last few weeks. Another group I didn't actually show any interest in tried to pressure me into joining and participating. After that, I keenly appreciate your respect for my time situation.

Yes, I am keenly interested in Reform Theology. Actually, it is my theology too. I hesitate to say that last sentence, because my theology is a work in progress, and though I have been formalizing it since 1985, I cannot say it is complete. However, on the whole I can say it is theology in the spirit of the Reformed churches, though there may be some points of disagreement.

I have never been affiliated to any denominational church, so in that sense I don't belong to a Reformed "tradition". But, as I said, I do (for the most part) have a theology that reformed church believers might find themselves largely in agreement with.

However, at this point, there is no need to focus on differences. If such emerge, we will all deal with them together.

    hi, larry k!
thanx for your friendship request, thanx for leaving me a note and thanx for asking me that.
No, I don't think "a day" means 24 hours. Maybe it means a second, or maybe a hundred years. I think they are called "days" so thet people can understand them better. The Universe is a misterious thing, nobody can understand how matter and antimatter appeared. And I don't think that we should try to figure it out because some secrets ment to be secrets...
Have you hurd of the L.H.C.? (Large Hadron Collider) It's the stupidest experiment ever...

Anyway, thanx for writing to me... :). But, how did you know I'm from Romania?

    Thanks, Larry, for your welcome.
My main contribution to a discussion of "the five points of Calvinism" is actually an article on Arminius!!
This is the first in a series of posts, featuring my article, "Arminius- Hero or Heretic?" This article was first published in Evangelical Quarterly 64:3 (1992): 213-227. The full article can be found at http://www.theologicalstudies.org.uk/pdf/eq/arminius_cameron.pdf
    -----
I have posted this article - as a series of seven posts - at my blog, Here are the links for these posts.

    Hi Larry,
What think I'll propose is to put it into the magazine as a puzzle with 2 prizes. Competition 1 (open all including clergy) a donation of £30 (to church funds) for all 30 books and competition 2 (none clergy) £25 (to church funds) for the most books found. If someone manages to find all 30 I'll let you know. But it'll be a while because the magazine is quarterly.
    Regards, Ernie
PS. I 've tried backwards and forwards and all upper case letters.

Larry, (B"H) You have returned home safely. I have been busily getting ready for the High Holy Days (Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur). This year we will be broadcasting the service live on the internet.

I have to tell you, You look very much like my partner in the comic strip. Randy is a librarian and writes many of the story lines.

Larry, I was just poking around some of the groups and checked out The Theology Forum then stumbled into the discussion "Torah and Injil never said your religion is Judaism and or Christianity!" Single handedly you took on the notorious carxmoro.

    Well done, sir; well done!!

Hi Larry, Ive just been reading your puzzle posting (30 Books of the Bible). Do you have the answer? I assume we are not using the Roman Catholic Bible. I've just spent a couple of hours and found 28 but the last 2? If you have the answer let me know and I'll tell you what I found. I'd like to use it in our Church Mag.

I'm not the best person to ask because I don't have access to television and I try to read up to 3 newspapers monthly but as far as I see the tension between Poland and Russia is only strategical one (so I doubut there will be any harmful actions) and it's mostly because the usa anti-missile shield is bound to be build here. I'm afraid I don't know anything about invasion on Ukraine but I doubt in it as Ukraine is ment to be a part of UE in future so probably UE would respond for such actions. I would say it's as quiet as always been here.

    Warm regards,
    a.

    Larry,
Thanks for the invite! Your kindness is appreciated, however I'm not too sure I would fit real well. I am not a "5 pointer" - maybe 3 1/2. My good friend who is a 5 pointer tells me, "You simply want to beat the "L" out of atonement." He's right.

I'm always up for a civil discussion of the issues at hand - so let me know if you REALLY want someone of my less than TULIP persuasion to join up and ride.

    Under the Mercy,

    John

    Hullo Larry,
I was reading your blog/web-site, it was so encouraging and interesting, my encouragement was that the word and the developments you have made with your church, the Lord has done great things in your ministry, I read the way you began it and realized it was a Great. What interested me was the unique and nice cars, hear in our country Uganda you can not find those kind of models, people ignore them as old type, am wondering seeing them over. I fellowship with Rivers of life church in mbale Town, the church is just growing and i hope God will make come our a big ministry.

God bless you, Greetings to your family members and church members,

    Brother Killion,

I have been wanting to go to Papua New Guinea for quite a number of years now, but that door has not opened up. I have no concrete plans to go at the moment, however I do speak the language and have a number of contacts over there some of whom do not know English. Through the past 12 years I have collected a number of books about the country and the language...just could not add them on here until recently since we can now add books manually.

    Lord bless!
