So I switched to books...he now has a rule for me...NO BUYING HARDCOVER BOOKS...and he loves that I've discovered the joys of the library.

I don't really have a genre that I stick to, as you can see by my shelf. I've realized that if it's on a bestseller list, it's probably pretty good, so if the plot intrigues me, I'll give it a go. I perfer to read books that are recommended to me by friends, especially friends that have a similar taste in books as me. I've been told I'm a voracious reader, and I've been known to plow through 500+ page books in a day. And if I like a series, then I'll see it through. The same goes for an author, I've been known to read all of an authors books if I really enjoy their writing. « less
