I have Sherry Thomas on my "plan to read" but I haven't read her yet. Both her books sound really good from the back covers. I'll have to be on a look out for her books next time I go to a book sale. Stephanie Laurens is a fav of mine. I love books that have a strong romance and mystery element to them. I have read every one of her books and always keep them. I tend not to keep book because of space but I never can part with her books. :) I have read them over and over.
My box this month had a range of different romance genres. Books from Candice Camp, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kresley Cole, Julie Anne Long, Pamela Kyle and a bunch of varies "series" books All authors I haven't read before or read very few books from them. I'm excited to get started on them. Last month was a box of Hope Tarr another author I hadn't read before. I have yet to get to any of them though. I'm still working on my Dec box lol. I was sort of on a Cherry Adair kick and once I started the series I really wanted to read the series all a way through. She is another of my favorite authors especially her earlier books. If I really get into a series I always want to read it all :) I'm lucky that the local library carried most of them.
I'm looking forward to Valentine's Day its helping me get through the snowy weather. I have a romantic weekend planned. I'm hoping the weather holds and is good for traveling. We plan on traveling into Detriot area and staying at the GM tower. Just making it a fun weekend together. I can't wait :)
Hope you have a good day? Keep me informed on your good reads :)
Hi Sylvia :) *Waves back across the pond lol*
I know how it is. Money is tight for me too. I did find a bunch of ladies willing to trade a box of books for a box. Its helped I haven't had to buy a book in months. Its expanded my reading too. I'm reading books I probably normally wouldn't of picked. We have about 3 feet of snow now( 125 inches this year so far) and its hard getting out. I'm glad I have some books to keep me busy. I'll be happy when spring is here.
The avatar is just from a search for 1940 pin ups. I thought they were cute so I been putting one up every once in awhile. The one I really liked had words all over it so I had to go with my second choice lol
Hope your having a nice day? read any good books lately? Sarah
