Hi Sharon, thanks for the friend request.
I have no idea who or what the green guy is. It just looked funny!
Thanks for the friendship request. Lyndsay Sands books are real good, fun and light reads. The first one isn't that great, but if you are looking for a light book without a lot of drama, I highly recommend them. I also like Kresley Cole and just finished the Fever series. Where on the Jersey Shore are you? Used to spend the summers in Wildwood.
There are things I really like & things I kind of roll my eyes about. I like the basic premise, and the hero's friends, the sharpness & quick wit of the hero (and he does redeem himself w/out it being one of those miraculous, sudden, totally unrealistic changes). The heroine's just not winning me over that much. So far she just seems too naive in a lot of ways and too saccharine sweet for me - like she should be old enough to know better, in spite of the time period.
The Blind Assassin is a good book - it has a story within a story - part of it is science fiction, part is real life. It finally ties together at the end - very clever. The author, Margaret Atwood, also wrote The Handmaid's Tale.
HI. Thanks for the friendship request. The guy in the avatar's name is John DeSalvo and I'm not sure if he still does book covers or not. He does have a website ( I haven't been there in a while) so you might check there. He is my favorite model. I think he is totally gorgeous!
Thanks for the invite and welcome to Shelfari. I am going to have to snatch some books from your bookshelf. I love historicals...
Kindle - Yes, you do get to see the cover however only as the first page of the book. I do NOT miss holding a book. I even prop my Kindle up so I can eat while I read. One of the best things - I can read any type of book I want while in the breakroom at work without anyone knowing what I am reading.
Thanks - I love switching it up w/ female faces of the past. I love Anne Taintor stuff too - do you?

I see you're a Suzane Brockmann fan as well. I just began Breaking the Rules and am loving it so far!
Hi! Thanks for the friendship request. If you like historicals, you should check out my group Historical Romances For The Readers Who Love Them - I have a post of upcoming releases:
