Sweettpyes

I love, love love to read! A book is something that you rarely see me without. For as long as I can remember I have been reading. I used to hide the flashlight in my room and get my read on after my bedtime. The same love I have for reading, I have for writing. I haven't penned a book yet, but it's in my future.

  • Just Too Good to Be True: A Novel

Loved it!! I highly recommend this book. E. Lynn Harris wrote a stellar novel as usual. This was a very, very, good read. There's love, secrets, some drama and avisit from a character that we all know and love. Keep them coming Mr. Harris, can't wait to read what's next.

    The Last Chance

This was a great book. Love story filled with drama, action, family drama, and love of family. Keilah Chance is a drop dead gorgeous security agent who protects her family and others no matter what. She is quick to pull a gun and use it if need be. At the same time her heart is big and she's looking for love. She doesn't find it, it finds her. In the midst of this love story is family drama. All the subplots supported the plot and nothing got lost in this story. I would love to read a story about Malachai Chance and Keytone as well.

This was the first book I've read by Seressia Glass. I enjoyed it from cover to cover. Great interracial story where the conflict wasn't about the color of their skin, but their ability to truly love one another.

Pretty good read about the "Wild One" Amber Lockhart. I was very touched by the way that Paul loved her unconditionally. There were points where I thought that Paul's love was going to smother Amber and she was going to leave but his love and the Amber's love for him and his son is what kept her. Funny thing...she had no idea what she was really feeling until it was threatened by another woman...or so she thought. I can't wait until the last book to find out what her family will think!

  • Only You (A Grayson Novel)
    • Rated 5 stars

If I could rate this 10 stars I would. I love the Taggart/Falcon/Grayson family series. For all you Daniel Falcon lovers out there (like me)....watch out because Blade Navarone is the MAN. Blade and Sierra's story is like none other and well worth the wait. There's humor, love, passion, secrets and pain. We find out the secret that turned Blade into the ruthless, determined businessman that he is today. We find out just how determined Sierra is to not fall for her mother's matchmaking schemes. Love was the furthest thing on their minds, but they were destined for one another.

"Only You" brought us up to date with our favorite family members as well as introduced us to new friends. We haven't seen the last of Ruth Grayson and Felicia Falcon. There's more matchmaking to be made.

I fell in love with this family all over again. Luke especially. Daniel will always have my heart! Read "Only You" and fall in love Blade Navarone and rediscover the love for your favorites.

I absolutely loved this book! With Clark's temper tantrums, Devin's over the top mother and Devin and Clark's crazy relationship! I loved it all. The characters all have a great chemistry that draws you in from page one, keeps you until the last page and leaves you wanting more. Kudos to Candice!! I would love to know what happens later in their lives......you have to read the book to understand what I mean.

  • Soul Caress (Kimani Romance)
    • Rated 4 stars

This book held me from beginning to end. I loved how the heroine was a strong woman who didn't let her accident weaken her. She accepted her blindess and the love that came with it. Her parents were a bit over the top, but what lay in the souls of Kennedy and Malik overruled. I can't wait for Madison's (Kennedy's sister) story in March 2008 titled "Foreign Affair!" It will be nice to see who tames Madison...

This was a great read. I really enjoyed the passion between the two characters. No matter what Sweetie said or did, it always led her back to Gabriel! Gabriel knew what he wanted and no matter who Sweetie said she wasn't....he knew the truth.
