I was gifted a set of two P.G.Wodehouse Omnibus novels by Moti and Dan on my birthday a few years ago. My dad enjoyed them so much so that he's kept one of the two! P.G.W needs no review. Y'all know he rocks! ;)

Second in a series of four books, New Moon gives an interesting twist to the plot. I won't say I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed Twilight. But my opinion might be biased since New Moon didn't feature Edward Cullen as much I'd've wanted to. *sheepish grin*

One of my all time favourite plays. Friedrich Dürrenmatt writes of a woman, divorced several times over, who returns to her hometown to 'give away' millions. The only condition? They have to get rid of her ex-boyfriend. As in, kill him/murder him.

It's fantastically done. I'd read this play as a part of my cirriculum in high school and have very fond memories of the poem I wrote summing this play up. It was a creative-writing assigment. I must still have the poem somewhere in my archives. :)

  • The Great Indian Novel

Fantastically written book (so far) that brings together the British Raj in India and mixes that up brilliantly with the legend of the Mahabharat. Especially love the depiction of Gandhi as Bhishmapitamah. Halfway through it. Infuriating, the mere mention of Jallianwala Bagh.

Rohit couldn't have given me a better gift for my first Karvachauth.

Twilight brought back so many memories...memories of the first time I felt love...the first of many stolen glances, the intense agony of love...

I wouldn't call it a literary masterpiece. No. But I would highly recommend this book to everyone who wants to experience the sheer joy of love. She writes well, very well, making the plot seem reasonable, not mythical. Mystical, yes, but plausible, and very today.

I immensely enjoyed this novel. I can't wait to finish New Moon before the movie comes out.
