I have just read a interesting book Drawing in the Dust by Zoe Klein. I look at you shelf and thought you may enjoy the story line.
Hoping your having a good week too. Kitchen/Herb witches are mainly solitary. Our magick is based on helping home, family, and friends without using ritual as others do.
So, when you plot out the chapters first ? Does the characters ever take over and your plots go out the window ? I've heard that happens to other authors ; some more frequwntly than others. LOL
Have you ever considered having a character whose a kitchen or herb witch ? I could give you some information about it. Nothing nafarrious, but rather more along the lines of Mother Earth and all her creatures & such.

*grin* Well, I'll definitely stalk you on Facebook then. I'm not very Facebook savvy so I don't really understand what being a fan means so I'll stick with the friendship part.
I'm mostly there to keep in touch with my family. To give you some idea of how scattered we are, just on my dad's side of the family there are (if I've my count right) 14 first cousins. That sounds like a lot until you realize that's the product of 7 siblings. Out of the 14 first cousins, we were born in 6 different countries and are presently living in 5 to 9 different countries (my cousins don't like staying still :D). Other than that, I'm also there to keep in touch with the high school and college buddies ... somewhat.
As to paranormal mystery reading ideas, you might want to have a gander at the "I'm looking for a new series" discussion. It originally started as a question regarding series that have a male protagonist as the main character ... and then progressed from there.
