I believe in being open-minded.
I believe that Freedom of Religion is just that. We should all be free to worship, or not, as we please.
I believe a ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional. If two people are happy together and in love, that's all that matters. The world needs more love and happiness.
I am a collector of quotes.
I love cats and have four or my own.
I am a firm believer in spaying/neutering pets...especially cats. The cat overpopulation problem is one we can work together to solve.
I am currently unemployed, but using this as an opportunity to spend more time on my writing. Currently working on my poetry as well as a mystery novel. I am also looking at the possibility of changing careers. Wanted to be a teacher as a kid, and have always come back to that idea at different times, so maybe now is the right time to pursue it.

Things/People I Like: Law & Order (especially old episodes with Jerry Orbach), SVU, CI, Torchwood, Dr. Who, Ghost Hunters, Scrubs, Color Splash, movies of all kinds, books like crazy (all kinds), JAMES CAGNEY, Heath Ledger, Charles Bronson, John Wayne, Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Alan Rickman, HUGH JACKMAN (Whoa Baby), The Thin Man movies, Sci Fi, Star Wars (The first 3 movies - Chapt. 4-6), Music (all kinds), Bette Midler, Mae West, good discussions, people who listen and don't judge, D&D (although I never could play well), Iced Mocha Latte (my guilty pleasure), SNOW, scary movies (not gory - there's a difference), House Hunters, Paula Deen

Things/People I Dislike: Lost (used to watch it, got bored), Oprah Winfrey (Sorry folks. She is so overrated.), most reality TV, Alvin and the Chipmunks (But I will probably end up watching the movie.), hypocritical people (and I know way too many), arguments, televangelists, fanatics (religious or otherwise), long lists ;-) « less
