Thanks for the note. I thought the other one was just too stern looking. Good for scaring misbehaving kleiner kinder (little children); but not a look that would draw people to you who are looking for help or guidance.

I agree! so sad! do me a favor...if I EVER say something wrong (unintentionally as it would most certainly be), please let me know ASAP. I am even afraid to use the name of God in my posts. for some only use G-d, some use Allah, some use the Divine, ... I generally try to just say the universal power, or creator of something harmless and nondescript. I hope it is anyway???! sheeesh! I feel so sad though that if we cannot pass these barriers on a small scale how can the world ever pass them on a large one? that's the real hard part for me to swallow in all this. sigh. anyhow, thanks for your kind words. for Universal Peace is more than a wish it is a global dream...

no, I deleted my comments. I was too afraid of saying something which may cause offense in an already sad situation. I truly only ever mean good and love all people no matter what creed, color, nationality, in fact I love ALL life forms and honor life itself ...but sometimes maybe it is wiser to stay out of what isn't my affair??? with love and care. Susan, I did explain to Krish, and I would have explained to you, but I did not want to add burden on top of burden. Since I have accepted the mantle of Rebbe, I cannot expend energies on arguing with such people every few weeks, when that energy can be put to work for HaShem and His people. I noticed that Krish immediately came under attack, and the vile vitriol and hatred that spewed for their mouth at Krish made me ill.

Unfortunately, banning them will only silence them for a short time. They are jackals in sheep's wool. They will adopt new usernames and open new accounts, and they'll be right back to their old habits.

No need to apologize, their is nothing to apologize for! We have learned from long experience that "those who will hate you, will hate you. You cannot change it." Understanding this, I must cling to the words of HaShem: "Those who bless you will be blessed; and those who curse you will I curse."

I started a group called Read-a-Likes, and I'm trying to get some active readers involved in the group to help create lists of, well, read-a-likes. The group is small as I just started it the other day and only have a few posts, but I'd really like to get some more active members that can help create these lists. I think that it would come in handy for other members that are looking for some helpful readers advisory. Check out the group if you're interested: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/26266/about (i think that might work, haha). Again, the group's name is Read-a-likes.

    Thanks

    K.

We have no chain restaurants on our island, and the options for eating out are limited in my thinking, The two places my Husband likes to eat are the Thai restaurants in Seattle or the African place we have found. But it has been several years since we have gone there. Leaving the island is cost prohibitive these days, Since getting back on requires a very expensive ferry ride.

Hi Susan, I am sure that food from a restaurant is much better, in fact i know it is better. Growing up in NYC, i had eaten at a few Indian Restaurants, but the food is hotter for sure. There are none here that i have found, i am sure there are some in Seattle, but too far away to just go to dinner. Still looking for a Nigerian restaurant in Seattle, none that we know of. My husband does not like to eat out. Sez is criminal to waste that kind of money on food.
