I spend all my free time reading and writing (and dancing at Mimi's, i guess). My essay "Instead of the Rat Pack," will appear in The Best Creative Nonfiction, Vol. 2, due out in July. I spotted the first volume in the Urban Outfitters' book section/ unorganized pile of Hornby and Klosterman the other day, which is a tad frightening.

Good to see Millions of Cats on your shelf. That is one of those books I remember my Mum reading me when I was young and innocent. Now I am older and can be a real pain the arse from time to time. :) Great shelf! I've been meaning to read some Proulx, I remember reading some of her shorter pieces for a class in English. Good comment on finding The Best Creative Nonfiction at Urban Outfitters. I, quite honestly, don't know what to think about that....
