“ An interesting book. Dark, humorous, and interesting. I think Dexter is an "every man" type character. How many of us haven't known how to interact with someone or something? A girlfriend who couldn't take us wanting to breakup with them...the tears, the drama, the emotion. Very awkward for most men. Or how about a boss who says something, and we not knowing exactly what they meant when they said it? Have we ever felt the "odd-man out" in situations? Now imagine all those feelings, and being an antisocial, serial killer. This is the book for you.
My favorite line in the book: "I was not completely crazy yet. Seriously antisocial, of course, and somewhat sporadically homicidal, nothing wrong with that. But not crazy." Very funny in a deeply twisted, sickening sort of way”
