I've had little time for shelfari lately, due to a lot of changes in my personal life. I've recently moved into a new apartment :)
Despite the increased load of work both professionally and at school, I've had lots of time to read. I've been exploring a bit lately and discovered wonderful authors such as Christopher Moore and several... more »

I wanted so much more from this book, than what I actually got. The idea, plot and characters are so interesting, but for some reason it failed to impress me when I read it. I look forward to potentially seeing a movie based on the book though, I think it might be more suitable.

I adore all things from Gaiman's mind. I would lick inside Gaiman's head to show him how much I appreciate all things coming from inside his mind.

    Yeah. It's true.

I did not know what to expect when I began reading this. I thought it was just a boring melodramatic love triangle between a man and two women. When it turned into something else, the suprise caught me hard and I absolutely could NOT turn away from the book until it was over. In retrospect this book is so full of beautiful writing, wonderful characters and a story that reads on so many levels it simply blows my breath away. I LOVED this book.

I picked this book because I wanted quick scifi-reads while travelling. It's definitely that, and more, as I came to love some of the stories so much that I decided to purchase more books by the authors I found within. Recommended!

Wow. After finishing book one, I went straight for book two, and I absolutely love this gigantic tale of kings, wannabe-kings, dragons, lost princesses and direwolves. It's a huge, gigantic, monstrous book and the stories within the covers are just as epic.

I tried reading this once before, but quit. Recently I picked it up again and this time the characters and the story stuck to me like glue. Its a traditional fantasy tale about kings and wannabe-kings, direwolves, lost princesses and dragons. Highly recommended!

Quick read, but very entertaining in that scary, "everyone you know is dead"-kinda way.

I absolutely adore Hill's characters and storytelling. Dark and huomorus, it plays with the rules of the genre and eventually makes the genre something new and, even, better. Watch out for "Last Breath," it took my breath away.

Brilliant. Never read anything quite like this before. Puts your imagination to work as you try to decipher realities and characters you've never ever thought of before.

I absolutely LOVE this comic. It's quirky, dark, cute, extremely well-written and highly entertaining. All fans of Gaiman and King will adore this.
