I am an AVID reader, truly addicted to African American fiction. I am also an author with works under the names Linda R. Herman and Sunshine Royal.
I am best known for my novella debut, Consequences When Love Is Blind, a book written to raise HIV awareness. This is a MUST read book that you will want to have discussions about with your family and friends. The novel, Consequences, is coming January 22, 2009. Look for it from Xpress Yourself Publishing.
On December 2, 2008, readers can find my inspirational short stories in the anthology, Somebody Prayed for Me, along with works by authors Tinisha Nicole Johnson (Searchable Whereabouts) and Allyson M. Now about me, the woman behind the pen and paper, I'm a mother and wife. My oldest is 16 and he's a junior in high school. My baby is three, and she needs a job, LOL. I love my children!
I work full-time as a 911 dispatcher and it's one crazy ass job, LOL, but it pays the bills.
