I must read Maus II, based on what you said. So many books... March is Women's History Month and I've got a stack on my bedside. Am reading Virginia Wolff's To the Lighthouse and loving the interior thoughts and observations of her characters. Also finishing The Private Lives of the Impressionists by Sue Roe, with Ross King's The Judgement of Paris on deck.
Me again. I agree that ALL cats and dogs can't be spayed/neutered. But, I don't think that will ever be a problem. I would just love to see a time when we don't need shelters, or at least when they aren't full to capacity and then don't have to euthanize. (bet that's spelled wrong)
What I don't understand is how some people can look into the trusting eyes of defenseless animals and cruely hurt them. I would protect my "babies" with my life.
Bet your article is going to be interesting. Would love to read it when it's done/published.
