i struggled with dune as well. pretty complex plot, subplots, and schenmes. took a while to get used to the sentence structure. numerous characters and families. i finally started noting down the characters, their roles, and major events. i didn't know there was a glossary of alien terms till p75! once i got past all that, i enjoyed the sci-fi fantasy, and story. re-read a year later, and enjoyed it much more. Channi was a sweetie :)
