I've been an avid reader since I was 6 years old and I still manage to make the time in my busy life to read at least 1 book a week (which is down a lot from when I was in school - we're talking 3 or 4 books a week). I generally read a good mix of bestsellers, critically acclaimed and award-winners, classics and chick lit with a few... more »

Hello Sugar Malone. I just finished reading Gone with the Wind today and absolutely adored it. I notice from your review that you revisit it. I am thinking I will probably keep coming back to it too!

Hi! I’m from the Canada group, just popping by to let you know that we are trying to drum up interest in doing a group read. We have a thread started for anyone who is interested to let us know they are interested. Once we know there will be a few people, we’ll then decide on a book (Canadian author, of course!). Hope you decide to join us!

Hi Sugar Malone, I just read your review of "Rhett Butler's People" and although I haven't read the book yet, (I will in the next few weeks) your review makes me want to get to it soon. I also am a real GWTW fan ever since I first read the book when I was 12. We have some other books in common also.

I have and have read "Scarlett". I've kept it in my collection but didn't really care for it that much. I just don't think you can improve on the original.

I saw you over in BB&D saying that you still buy Maeve Binchy's books, hoping that they will get better even though the last few haven't been up to snuff. Please, please, tell me if you find her returning to her former glory. Miss Maeve and I fell out fully at Tara Road, and I haven't found a way to forgive her yet! :)
