more »I've been an avid reader since I was 6 years old and I still manage to make the time in my busy life to read at least 1 book a week (which is down a lot from when I was in school - we're talking 3 or 4 books a week). I generally read a good mix of bestsellers, critically acclaimed and award-winners, classics and chick lit with a few non-fiction thrown in every once in a while. I also have a regular rotation of old favourites that I like to pull out once a year. Because I read so much, I really rely on the local library and often like to make a trip to the local bookstore with a notebook to take down the titles of new books to read. I currently have 50 books on hold at the library (the limit), 6 books beside my bed that have to be back in 3 weeks and a notebook full of titles I want to read.....and I just keep adding to the list. I may never get through them all but darn it - I'm going to try!!
