I loved to read when I was younger and now that I am in college I am slowly easing my way back into the world of books. I am discovering both good and bad books, but it is a wonderful journey.     I loved Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen but I didn't care for the Mister Monday, etc. series. Which Patricia McKillip do you recommend starting with? I am craving a book like The Hero and The Crown, The Blue Sword or Deerskin--

    I read your note about Deerskin, by Robin McKinley and share your opinion of the book. I loved it too, and thought it was so much more than about the literal aspects of incest and rape, but about self-acceptance, survival, growing up and love (so much more than that too). I am hoping that you can make a recommendation of another novel along those lyrical storytelling lines.
