Name of the World wasn't as good as Jesus' Son or Seek. It was an easy, quick read. His character, Michael Reed?, wasn't a low-life like most of Denis' characters. I liked it. I thought some of your books were better (Birdman and Hurry Down Sunshine).

Is there any way for me to convince the other libraries to pick it up? I guess you'd call HUNTING an adventure. It is DA VINCI CODEsque (but better). I just signed with the oldest literary agency in the country: John Hawkins and Asso. The agent, Anne Hawkins, is working on my next novel ALBERTVILLE, which we feel could get some decent industry buzz. Very different from HUNTING because it is a political historical novel based on events in the Congo in 1960.

Dear Julie: My debut novel HUNTING THE KING came out in April. I recently completed an arduous task, emailing as many public libraries across the country as I could to see who had the book on their shelves. Could you let me know if your library is carrying HUNTING. The publisher is Kunati Books. The ISBN is 978-1601641489. Thanks, if you can. Peter

The picture had to get reformatted to fit...and it cut off the snakes head. But, I think it's kinda arty. Yeah, Birdman was kinda creepy. I guess I was reading pretty constantly last Sunday.

I'm a great fan of Reggie Hill and have been for years. Joe Sixsmith novels have a lighter touch than Dalziel and Pascoe but are just as good. His Chief Inspector is a bit Dalzielish - but I don't mind that. Recommended reading for all Hill fans and for those, like me, who enjoy a good entertaining crime story with not too much gore, just enough to make the story real. This is the fourth time I've read this novel and I am still enjoying it. Best wishes, Pauline.

I haven't figured out how to do anything yet. I've been trying to add my last book I read, but haven't been able to. I will try to figure it out over lunch. I probably shouldn't have joined--since it's work email, but it is about books. How can they complain?
