Stuart Chambers was born in Harrogate, he grew up in Wetherby, in what can best be described as a uniquely 'interesting' childhood. His two favorite quotes are, 'If they give you lined paper, don't write on the lines,' (Unknown) and 'Two paths diverged in a wood & I took the one less traveled by & that made all the difference,' (Robert Frost). He had his first script (Non-Returnable's) broadcast by the BBC when he was seventeen. He produced his first long format film when he was twenty-five; the film was 60 minutes long and shot on 35mm film in five countries. In 2005 he wrote, produced and directed a film documentary for the launch of Mobily in Saudi Arabia. In 2009 he co-wrote and produced a 30 minute film for the Qatar National Day. This entailed filming a documentary for the State of Qatar that tells the personal stories of people who had suffered terrible tragedy when disaster struck their region and highlights the huge impact aid from Qatar is having on them and their community. Kashmir, Beirut, New Orleans and Banda Aceh could seldom have appeared on the same travel itinerary but they were all on Stuarts: Seventeen flights, nine countries and forty-five thousand miles; a journey of epic proportions to some of the most isolated parts of the world where he would uncover stories of real courage and dignity and survival against the odds. The film went to air on the Qatar National Day. Stuart is currently writing his second novel 'Four Doors' and sourcing funding for a feature film project he wrote last year called Driving Deidra down Doha. He focuses on producing hi-end television commercials and quality documentary films, where his clients seek to make a real difference. He is equally at home shooting a hi-end TVC with a large crew or out with a director and a camera on his shoulder. His clients will confirm that he has established an international reputation as a an extremely creative story-teller and filmmaker who always strives to deliver the very best.
Stuart works in Dubai and lives in Romania with his wife and family.
