My name is Emma. Em, Emmar, Emzie, M&M, anything will do. :) I am a dreamer, a writer, a reader, and a hopeless romantic. Reading is the BEST thing that EVER happened in this world. I am a big reader, and my favorite genres are fantasy, and realistic fiction. My role models are J.K. Rowling,...

I will be 37 in July. I only feel younger when I am playing with my almost 3 y.o. niece (who's b-day is also in July).I was in the US Navy for 4 years honorably ('03 to '07). It was an amazon adventure. I got to visit 8 countries for a very short time. If it weren't for my passion in reading...

This is a wonderful contemporary / steamy romance book. For everyone who is looking to unleash a little wild side, this is the romance book for you. I will be looking forward to reading more from Ms. Conley.
What I liked about the book: I enjoyed that the characters were wonderfully and believably flawed. I loved that Dalton was the bad boy and remained true to his character throughout the entire book. I enjoyed Alyssa’s character and truly “got” her character.

What I didn’t like about the book: I was a little thrown at first about the characters dreaming about each other. But, in the end I found that it just fit and enjoyed it thoroughly.

    Discovering Pride (Volume 2)

This is a wondeful contemporary romance. I read her first novel, and anxiously awaited the release of Discovering Pride. I couldn't put it down. The story was so vivid & so captivating I really felt like I knew each character personally. I definitely recomend this for any romance fan. --EReynolds

First, let me say that Desert Chimera kept me entertained. It was written in such a way, that you never knew what was going to happen. If the characters were good or bad.

I liked the characters and wish there had been a little more background of some of the side characters. Some where a little hard to believe, but then again, this was a fantasy, so I think they fit in fine.

Last, I wish the flow of the story was a little smoother. Other than that, I think it's an entertaining story and worthy of a read. I'm looking forward to reading other stories from Leigh.

Dream Weaver (Dream Weaver Novels) (Volume 1)

    Rundown:
If you are into dark science fiction meets YA romance with a little tragic style relationships, this book is for you.
Ms. Williams draws you into a world of the impossible with poetic lyrics that dare you to put her book down.

    Rundown:
If you are into dark science fiction meets YA romance with a little tragic style relationships, this book is for you.
Ms. Williams draws you into a world of the impossible with poetic lyrics that dare you to put her book down.

    What I liked:
Dream Weaver is a YA meets Dark Science Fiction story of Emari, a 17 year old girl in which some very hard and dark times befall her.
This, at times almost poetic writer, digs deep in your emotions as she weaves the dark tale of how Emari comes to meets Nick, a Dream Weaver.
The story was very suspenseful and entertaining, which kept me coming back to finish the book quickly.
I would love to read book #2.

    What I didn't like:
The tragic and at times depressing story winds into such deep thoughts, at time I needed to step away to my happy reality.
The emotions in which the story continues will either tug at your heart strings or become overbearing.
The character interaction was at times unbelievable and the story seemed to drag a little in Emari's depressed state.
The author pulls in an almost Edward (Twilight) feel with her character Nick, which you will either love or hate.

    Why I gave a 4 star review:
First, let me say that the story did truly entertain me. However, It did lose a star with the lack of "happy" I felt overall for the story.

    Rundown:
Imperfect people falling for imperfect people, I loved it! A truly amazing story of real people who struggle with real issues. I read it in one sitting and wanted more.

Jesse struggles with his bipolar issues while Charlie struggles with weight issues. How can this pair get together when so many issues are tearing them in separate directions? I enjoyed every minute of learning about these characters and was thoroughly entertained.

    What I liked:
I loved the character flaws in every character. The battered friendship between Charlie and Jesse is truly wonderful and believably electrically charged.

    What I didn't like:
I’m a sucker for happy ever afters... (Spoiler) and can't wait for the next in the series!

A imaginative fantasy with romance and adventure. This story has wonderful characters that at times are unbelievable.
A journey to another world that will have you turning pages for more. This story is full of romance, adventure, laughter, crying, murder, mayhem, unique characters, and more.

    What I liked:
I liked the journey and adventure to a mystical place. I usually don't read this type of book, but Neveah has changed my mind. I look forward to the next book & part of this journey.

    What I didn't like:
When I started reading, I didn't care too much for Lilly & Shep. But, as time grew, so did my love for these characters.
The beginning was a little slow and kind of unbelievable. I'm a "Happy ever after" kinda girl, and I'm hoping it will come in the next chapter of this series.
