I am married with Two girls . The are both in school now. I am currently looking for a new job, so I have lots of time to exercise and read. Before I had kids I was a preschool teacher and before that I was in the Army.

I try to write Children's stories in my spare time. I have not published anything though. I have submitted unsolicited and looked for an agent with no luck and . I know I have good ideas though since I have read three books that come pretty close to three of my stories. One story is almost exactly the same except for the fact that the animals have changed.

I love reading anything I can get my hands on. If I put every book I have read to my kids and at preschools, would probably have over 1000 books on my shelf.

When I rate books, I try and look at what age group it was written for. If it is a kids book that I thought was very clever it may get 5 stars, but you have to remember it is a kids book. Same for story line and plot. If it is good and very age apropriate it may get four stars. It has to have a good story and good writing to get 5 stars. « less
