    Love the line "I'm super short with tiny hands and feet" :) It caught my eye and made me want to check out your bookshelf. Alas, as is true of 99% of all women who read, you loved Pride and Prejudice. Jane Austen captivates women, but I just can't keep my mind on her stories. If you are ever bored and want to explain it to the dense male mind, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Jane and why women the world over adore her novels. A woman (mid-60s) who attends a weekly writers workshop with me says that Jane Austen helped the women of her day escape into a better world of manners, money, and tea parties. Comments?

    It's Jake. Susannah's character could be a composite of everyone's life. I guess we are all a bit fragmented in some way. Different things to different people. King is a master. I know some people don't like the Dark Tower books, but it has just about any genre one might want to read. Western, fantasy, romance, horror, suspense, dare I say respectable literature?

    I am reading them over again the are so good. I think the first three books are my favorites of the series. King created many worlds that are easy to get lost in.
