I love to read! Most of these are books that are actually on my shelves at home - lugged all the way to Hawaii because I can't live without them. I love to read! Most of these are books that are actually on my shelves at home - lugged all the way to Hawaii because I can't live without them. The ones that are not here are marked "In Storage/Sold." Needless to say, if the book is on my shelf, I liked it. For a quick peek at the few books that I have read that I didn't like, look under "Yuck."
My work is in the environmental field. I read my first Sci-fi/Fantasy book around my sophmore year in high school, and that was my main genre for many years. Then, I read a lot of non-fiction and classics. Almost eight years ago, some co-workers started our own book club, and that was a GREAT way for me to read books I would probably never have picked up on my own. I have enjoyed most of them (listed under Work Bookclub).
I usually read 2 or 3 books at a time, still jumping around from fiction to non-fiction. And doing a bit of writing in between.
