Steve Laube, a literary agent and president of The Steve Laube Agency, has been in the book industry for over 30 years, first as a bookstore manager and book buyer for a national chain. His store was awarded the National Store of the Year by the Christian Bookstore Association (CBA), out of 4,000 eligible stores. He spent 11 years with Bethany House Publishers rising to the position of Editorial Director/Adult Nonfiction and was named the Editor of the Year by the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association. Since becoming an agent in 2003 he has negotiated nearly 400 contracts representing approximately 700 new books and was named Agent of the Year by The American Christian Fiction Writers.
