I live in California, and finished a master's degree in counseling psychology, but the fun isn't over yet. I'm a first-year doctoral student, now, in Depth Psychotherapy. As one might imagine, I am passionate about psychology, mining the depths, and making the most out of one's life. I'm all about catharsis, so I adore books that make me laugh, make me cry... simultaneously would be ideal!

I have another master's in the Western classics from St. John's College in Santa Fe. The esteemed Great Book Program, and it certainly is. I learned here that Kant and Heidegger probably could have made all of that more succinct; and Euclid and Lucretius' work is elegant enough to swoon over. Hm. Never knew.

Reading is such an integral part of my life -- I can't imagine who I'd be without it! Other than reading, I love photography, yoga, cooking, movies, taking walks, and writing. I see every day as a chance for joy, and an opportunity for me to become a more substantial, more learned, kinder person. « less
