Try books by Mahfouz.I have started reading one (Check for more details about the book on the net) and it is so absorbing.I am planning to read other books written by him.I feel the book is so light while you read it and at the same time has a lot of meaning in what he says.Try it out.I am sure you wil love this one.

I was reding the book by j M coetzee.Summertime. I think this is his best. Till date I thought Waiting for the Barbarians as the best by him, or which impressed me most. His latest is really remarkable. Try it out.

It is difficult to get for you, but still try to get a copy of The New Jackals by Simn Reeve. It is a non fiction and all about terrorism. Osama and the stuff. It is so descriptive as if the authour has seen it all himself. Too good to believe. But a good book to read.I have read a few about the subject. You may try the book A long way gone by Ishmael beah, and is all about child soldiers.
