Paul prayed that the thorn in the flesh might be removed, and his prayer brought a large increase of spiritual strength, while the thorn perhaps remained (2 Cor. 12:7-10).

Thanks, Stacy, for your kind comment and welcome. I look forward to knowing you better in 2008 and to sharing. I love biblical numerology... the symbology in numbers as used in the Bible. The number 8 has been used to signify "new beginnings" - So I embrace 2008 as the "Year of New Beginnings" and pray they are wonderful, most blessed ones for you and your family!

"...[N]avigating life's successes and joys, fears and failures, and challenges and triumphs..." How that rings a bell! It's what I want to share, too... And how God is always there if we will but let Him in. And how He is faithful even when we are not. I know. I wouldn't be alive if it were not so! I just keep thinking - How can you be an overcomer if there is nothing to overcome? You obviously have deep understanding and an uncanny ability to reach ordinary people with an engrossing story that also sheds light on the Truth and brings hope. I look forward to our friendship and to reading your works. Have a blessed Christmas!
