    Hey there,

Has it really been a MONTH since I last talked to you? Wow!

I'm not going to say much (haha, right?), but I wanted to just update you on how I've been doing, since I've barely been around Shelfari in the past few months, and I'm probably going to delete my Myspace this summer (sorry, Truvy, and whoever else has me added. I just don't maintain it and to have all that personal information just sitting there, with the possibility of it getting spread, isn't worth the risk to me.) Anyways, some things: I graduate in four days from today, on Sunday. I'm pretty excited, I think, more to see family and such than to graduate. I'm sure it will be an emotional day, anyhow. Had my final choir concert last night, too; it was one of the most amazing nights of my life. So much connection, so many tears, so many memories all packed into about two hours. Crazy, but amazing! Ummm... what else? The day after graduation, I will be starting training to work six days (and sometimes nights) a week at a stables. Then this fall, I'm entering college, hoping to major in vocal (for now, since I got a scholarship), office administration (which seems more... job acquiring after college... than a vocal major does), and I'm still considering veterinary technician studies (I'd have to transfer twice, including once out-of-state, to complete that, though, so I'm not sure.) Other than that, not much else going on with me, just being driven nuts by all the graduation preparation in these final few days. I will probably not be writing at all this summer, and I don't know when I'll be writing this fall, due to my unknown college schedule, because Shelfari isn't exactly my forte anymore, even though it was for a while.

I guess that's all from me. Sorry if this is too long. I guess I had to cram a lot to say into a little (well, sort of... haha...) message. Hope you are doing as well as I am and have a great summer, if I don't talk to you before I start working and college and all that jazz.

    Hi Southpaw,

I was wondering if you've seen the new movie, August Rush? It came out last year and I've seen it twice. I was wondering, though... I'm writing a fan fiction based off it and at the point where I am right now, Evan (August) is asking his mother (Lyla) what kind of books she is going to get him, since he doesn't have clothes, books, etc. of his own. I'm stuck at that point because I don't know what kinds of books Evan might read, being only 11, almost 12, years old and already a Julliard student, a music prodigy.

I can give you more information on the movie if you need it, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions for books Evan might read, being 11, almost 12? The story is set in 2006-2007, which is 11, 12 years after he was born.

    Thanks,

    Cammy

A much shorter note this time! Just wanted to let you know that, in addition to RENT on May 30th at 8 P.M., my mom and I are also going to Wicked, but we don't know when yet! Or maybe I don't, because I know she's getting tickets for it. Just wanted to let you know! TTYL!

Bekka! So glad to finally have heard from you! Yeah, I haven't been around Shelfari as much lately, either, due to practically every night having play rehearsal for L'il Abner (I don't have a big part, but I am a wife, a citizen of Dogpatch, I have to be at nearly every rehearsal. Unfortunately, in the next couple of weeks, the rehearsals on Wednesday nights are going to conflict with my gig (well, rather, part-time job) at my church (where my drama director goes to), so I dunno how that'll work out. Hopefully, he'll let me miss or cut out early or try to finish it early enough so I can eat before I have to go... If you don't know what L'il Abner is, I'm sure you can find information on it on the Internet, if you're confused.

Where did you go to on vacation?

I actually have halted writing the Twilight fan fiction. I still have all the handwritten stuff, but I'm discontinuing it for a while. I'm too busy with my life and other more important fan fictions (*cough* Rent *cough*) to work on it for now. I might do it this summer again, though. Anyways, where I'm at in the story is right before (and/or after, not sure) she and Edward leave for their honeymoon. Jacob (of course) crashed the wedding... or tried to. It isn't as dramatic as it sounds; he basically just says "I object!" but eventually is overruled by Bella. Anyways, I'm thinking about Bella leaving Charlie and Renee a letter; but then she wouldn't be able to return for a few years and they might send out a missing persons' report or go looking for her... but being with the Cullens, they wouldn't find her; yet, she's as close to home as is safe... And I actually have Twilight checked out right now, because I need to borrow a few things from when James bit her to help me along with her transformation ("Put the fire out!" and such.) But yeah, for now, my Twilight fan fic is on hold. I might never post it; I don't know. I don't want to try to predict Stephenie Meyer, that's just too difficult! I'm waiting anxiously for Breaking Dawn; it comes out when I've already started my freshman year of college!

By the way, I'm on FanFiction.Net under the penname Renthead07, if you want to read my stories and give me reviews! If you're not a member, you can leave anonymous reviews (as Southpaw or something, so I know who you are.) I would love to hear your opinions on my RENT stories! My favorites of mine are Deviant Beauty and The Perfect Fan.

Yeah, I'm sad about RENT, too. Really sad, in fact. I came home Sunday night around 11 PM from an honor choir 7 hours away (one hell of a bus ride) and I went online to check and see if my fellow Renthead, Renthead621, had updated any of her stories (also on FFN.) Well, she had, and you know what she had on the top of her chapter? She wrote, "I'm sure you all have heard that RENT is ending. I know, I'm sad, too." And I'm like, WAIT, WHAT? But it was late at night so I couldn't scream and yell out of horror or anger or anything, because everybody but me was asleep... I did scream and yell at her in my review, though, because there was nobody else to scream and yell at... she understood. Anyways, I was so upset about never being able to see the show before it ends forever on Broadway that I basically sank into a depression all day Monday; I could barely do anything even remotely productive (and, unfortunately, I was babysitting my sister...) I called my dad at work that day to tell him the news and I started bawling; it was scary. At least he is a good actor and pretended he understood what was going on and that he was on my side, or else I dunno what I might have done. Later that day (or was it Tuesday? I dunno), I did get permission from him to call Renthead621 and she and I talked for a while; but it was daytime minutes, so I couldn't talk very long. But at least I talked to her; it helped a ton.

But then, on Tuesday night, around 8:30 PM, my mom called me... AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHE TOLD ME??? She told me she's TAKING ME TO SEE RENT AT THE NEDERLANDER THEATRE IN NEW YORK CITY ON MAY 29TH FOR MY GRADUATION PRESENT!!! FOUR DAYS AFTER I GRADUATE, THREE DAYS BEFORE IT ENDS FOREVER!!! :D:D:D:D:D I'm SOOO INCREDIBLY EXCITED!!! I have no idea how I slept that night, but somehow, I managed to, LOL. Yesterday I was celebrating all day, telling everyone whom I thought would care, and so far, a fair few people have. I've promised to bring something back from NYC, RENT-related or not, to a few of my friends. But seeing as I'm putting pretty much every penny I earn from work away for college, and I believe spending money is all I have to "pitch in on" (my mom said I have to pitch in on some things... but that isn't really a graduation present, is it...?), I may have to be careful about who I select to bring something back for. So far, I'm only bringing something back for two or three people whom I know really care about me going to NYC and stuff.

I have to go now! I'm leaving for school in like, ten minutes, and I still haven't done anything with my hair, LOL. Sorry if this was way too long! I had SO much to say to you!

    You take care as well!

    Hi,

Your friendship request has been accepted.

Yes, I love, love, love Twilight! I'm even beginning to write a fan fiction about it, post-Eclipse. I'm having a lot of trouble writing it, though; mainly because I just can't imagine myself writing like Stephenie does, and it's impossible to even begin to predict what may happen in Breaking Dawn! I'm trying, though.

Right now, in my story, and it's only chapter 2 (and this is where this note will lengthen greatly), Bella and Edward are preparing to leave for their honeymoon (and Jacob did sort of crash their wedding, but failed and left; he was by himself, Quil, Embry, and Billy were attending the wedding), and Edward tells Bella that he and the others have decided that, perhaps after their honeymoon, while they'd still be away from people, would be the best time to turn Bella... but she can't leave Charlie and Renee without giving them any kind of warning. At the same time, though, she can't warn them without exposing herself and the Cullens, you know? So I don't know what to do about that.

I'm so glad to have another HUGE Renthead for a friend! Woo hoo! OMG, you live near NYC? NO FAIR! I live about 1700 miles away from it. Have you had a chance to see RENT at the Neder? I haven't (obviously.) I can't afford it, plain and simple. Plane tickets, hotels, Broadway tickets, I can't afford hardly any of it (I can afford lottery, but that's after I'd get there, which I can't...)

Wow, sorry this is SO long! I get really wordy when it comes to Twilight and RENT! Any ideas on how I could continue my fan fiction?
