“This was a life changing book for me. The experiences of this woman in Rwanda opened my eyes to a world I didn't realize existed. Her determination and faith throughout the horrific experience of hiding to protect her life all the while knowing her family is dead, is amazing. But what makes it more inspiring is that she was still totally human -- scared, angry, torn inside between feelings of hate and a desire to stay close to God.
