Your Face Tomorrow: Fever and Spearnote on the profile below: it used to be much longer and varied, but since Shelfari, in its infinite lack of wisdom. has now arbitrarily decided, w/out warning, I might add, doubtless hoping no one would notice, to cut profile space...supposedly this was done because long profiles 'took a really long time to load on the page'...a reasoning that continues to elude me, perhaps because it has no basis whatsoever in reality...at least, not the reality we all currently inhabit...

plan to read: means I own it, but havent read it yet...
wishlist: means I want it, but havent acquired it yet...
read: means I read it and do, or once did, own it...I dont use libraries, they want you to give the books back, which is really rather unreasonable of them, if you ask me...
own: nearly empty and misleading since the idea of adding more than a thousand books to this particular shelf fills me w/ panic and dread, so I started but never, as yet, managed to work up the stamina to shelve the rest here...it's likely I never will...so if it's on the read shelf it, as I said, means I own
it now or once did...
