I love reading. That pretty much sums it up :)

I read a mix of things, but the bulk of it tends to be fantasy and science fiction. I love books that deal with moral and ethical issues, and I have a special place in my heart for dystopias.

I am currently in grad school pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry, and so books dealing with... more »

A lot different then Jacque's Redwall, but I don't know if it was better.

Megatokyo is one of the bigger online comics, and probably my favorite. The story begins a lot simpler, just two gaming friends ending up in Tokyo with no money to get home. However, one of the writers left, and Fred Gallagher has developed the story in a different direction that is much more shounen then the comic started out. But there are still Rent-a-Zillas and explosions, don't worry. To read the comic without buying the book visit www.megatokyo.com

I have a lot of problems, as a Christian, with Focus on the Family.
I have a lot of problems with James Dobson and his son Ryan
And I have a lot of problems with this book.

I have heard Dobson speak, and it made me not want to be associated with Christianity. That man has no regard for people who don't agree with him. He openly mocks them and their beliefs, and I was offended for those who do follow them. But what scared me was how many people liked him. And agreed with what he said, no matter how rudely he said it. I agree - there are things I am intolerant of - racism, refusing people human rights, murder, rape, insulting people, bullying...the list goes on. There are things wrong with them. But grouping them in with tolerance completely misses the point. I understand that tolerance has become a dirty word for a lot of people, but to be tolerant doesn't mean you have to accept it, its a live and let live.

I don't think Christ would endorse this book, or Dobson's ministry. Unfortunately, many Christians do.

A lot of Christians I know really don't like Campolo, but I think it's hard to be nice to someone who is telling you that you're not as good of Christian as you think you are.

This novel involves horror movie monsters coming to life at horror movie conventions. A great read, even if it isn't my favorite book in the series.

I don't get why Robert Jordan is so popular. I read most the series and then gave up because it was so bad. The first book isn't even worth your while, which is pretty sad.

People think they know the story of Dracula, but you probably don't unless you've read the book. And the book is worth it. Even if you don't like vampires its worth your time.
