I love reading. That pretty much sums it up :)

I read a mix of things, but the bulk of it tends to be fantasy and science fiction. I love books that deal with moral and ethical issues, and I have a special place in my heart for dystopias.

I am currently in grad school pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry, and so books dealing with... more »

I really like this novel by Grisham. It's his first, and probably one of his best. And (sadly) I've read almost all of his stuff.

This is probably my least favorite book in the series so far, although its still miles above most other fantasy novels

    I love this play :)

If there's any big fans of it, then you should read Gaiman's version of it in the Sandman

I've always felt somewhat isolated, as I've spent most of my life as a pastor's kid in a small church in Utah. I didn't end up bad, but I've dealt with a lot of hurt that has always been internalized. This book helped me understand why I think the ways I do and identify some of the more negative marks my childhood has left on me. It's good to know that I'm not alone, that there's other who have gone through the pressure of being a PK and feeling the constant need to be perfect and never feel like it was ok to want something for yourself. Hopefully this book has started me down a path of much needed healing. I recommend it to anyone who attends a church - to church goers to recognize the pressures they put on PKs and what it does to them, to the parents to understand what effects their ministry has on their kids, and most of all to the PKs, to know that it's ok, and they can heal.

I love the first arc of this series. It's amazing beyond reason. The second arc was a bit harder to get into to, but still worth a read. This manga will suck you in, it's full of twists and turns, and you find yourself cheering for the bad guy. It also makes you rethink some stuff. If you're thinking about picking this up, stop thinking and do it.

These books are simply awesome. I've read them since I was little, and I love them still. It's history presented in a completely different, and much more interesting way. I'm going to get some for my little cousins :)

This book would be a lot better if it didn't spend so much time going through that blasted tree....But it's still great read :)

Crap. And a fairly obvious rip off of Lord of the Rings if you ask me. He even named an elf Durin (which I find offensive - Durin is the father of dwarves and should not be sharing his name with an elf.)
