Smirking Revenge

Smirking Revenge

Proudly letting my girlie geek flag fly, I am a pop-culture fanatic of the best/worst kind. I am: a voracious reader and girl gamer; addicted to my iPod, most forms of music, and podcasts; am an unabashed film junkie with enough dvds to open up my own rental store; thanking sweet Brighid for DVRs; am fascinated by the arts, mythology,... more »

Why adding you?, hmm... let´s see: excellent taste for books, clever reviews, an open mind and a healthy sense of humor and point of view. And I just need the first reason to add you :)

By the way, a very good review the one you wrote about "Three Shadows"...

Hey, how's it going? Did you happen to check out Nathan Fillion in his new show Castle on ABC? I thought it was pretty entertaining; he's a mystery writer who gets involved with a real-life cop solving crimes. A bit contrived, but who cares? Damn he's cute. The only problem is, I don't think the female lead is up to his level of hotness. Let me know what you think!

Funny, thats how you want to be and the seriousness attached comes very subtley across. One thats not to be taken lightly. hmmmm.... Nice.... I need to be funny so that you add me, guess I would hate to trip and fall attempting thus you can easily passover after you have read this boring post.
What interets me is that a serious voracious reader like you indulging in the vampire bit hey I am not laughing I wanted to do my first movie (direct) a scary one but had to let go for romance as thats what the mass wants (honestly the macho me also adores it) and would hate to do a scary movie where I have to show the ghost..... still searching for that story... anyways.
I love a reader, a voracious reader I adore, a reader who has books as her treasured valuables over shoes in her closet, room, drawers etc... I love.
All I wanted to say "Keep on at it cause sometimes we dumb boys love to have a good chat with them ladies who makes us eat mud all the time".... Knowledge is power :) For some of us its the tonic of happy life.... Cheers!

Just as a random thought, I'm really sorry I haven't had time to drop you a little note since we've become friends on here! I love your bio! It seems we both avoid most of the same things. :) But anyway, thanks for adding me.

Is there any new series you've gotten into lately that's been exciting? I need to start something new, my brain feels dried up at lack of new material....

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi! Just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you that the Minneapolis-St.Paul-Minnesota Group has chosen some good books to read and discuss together during the upcoming months. Our Group Read for the months of September/October will be The Master Butcher’s Singing Club by Louise Erdrich and the group read for the months of November/December will be Growing An Inch by Stanley Gordon West. Both books are by Minnesota authors.

I invite you to join us in reading and discussing these books. Personally, I’ve started reading The Master Butcher’s Singing Club and I think it’s going to make for a great discussion. It has some very interesting characters!

So, if you had to pick your favorite supernatural/vampire series what would it be? I'm currently reading Carrie Vaughn's Kitty series and it's fairly enjoyable. At times predictable but she's really found a good stride with the books and while they are OMG SHINY! I'm a fan.

    Hello friend :)
I am reading the book " sense and sensibility" at the moment. I have covered 10 chapters of it , but since my mother tongue is not English I could not get the whole point, I was wondering if you could summarize chapters 1 to 10 for me. Just tell me what happens from chapter 1 to 10. You know, if you do this I will truly appreciate it. I really need your help on this. I noticed you have read this book and you liked it. Do you think you can do that to me? I can do anything you want in return :) Thanks a million. I will leave my e-mail in a private message to you, so that if you'd like write to me in my e-mail. I will truly appreciate it :)

I'm am so jealous. I was trying to set up a day trip to Chicago to see her with my best friend (who luckily loves her music, too) and it just didn't work out. Dish!

I've used this icon before and since I've been doing some swimming lately, I thought it was appropriate.
