    These books are so phenomenally good I am taking a very passive approach to them-whatever Martin wants to show me he will show me and I am enjoying being along for the ride. Coincidentally I am also reading A Feast for Crows right now-so glad to see my least favorite Lannister got toasted in Book III (I'm leaving that a little vague in case someone stumbles across this I hate spoilers!) I have a theory that Martin is moving the Stark family around like chesspieces, essentially-and that by the end of the final book they will all be in perfect position. Perfect position for what I don't know. Gosh it is nice to hear from you! Have a great weekend!

    I am so glad! Simmons is a really talented author who writes in a variety of genres. You might want to check out Song of Kali too if you like Carrion Comfort.

    I have it. I've had it since the day it was released. I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I have some serious concentration problems going on where reading is concerned lately. It's quite frustrating.

    Heart Shaped Box was just ok for me. I just expected more out of than there really was. To me, it just didn't live up to all the hype I heard about it. I think King is a much better writer than Joe is.
