Hey Sleepy,
How goes it?
Just started school this week and the body is exhausted but the mind is racing – overall it feels terrific to be back in the classroom.
This summer my latest book was released – “Roam Italy: A Teacher and His Students Take the Ultimate Class Trip.” The book’s website is www.theclassroombook.com if you wanted to check things out.
Possible tornado warnings in NJ this weekend so I best head for cover…
---michael :)
just finished one hell of an awesome book - and as you were clueless if there was some quality in the ranks of twisted writing styles like the one of david mitchell's, i can now recommend you Mark Z. Danielewski's House Of Leaves. (Mitchell's very own ghostwritten is grea too btw :))
Hiya, how are you? :) Loads of great reads there hen! 'James and The Giant Peach' is such a cool book, take care x
hey there
i saw your comment on Cloud Atlas and wanted to know if you can recommend anything alike, for i love mitchell's book so much, i want more of this style. may it be with those interlaced episodes, may it be intertwining characters or the brilliant style of making fiction so tangible. or all of it.
thx already :)
cheers, xxx
Thanks for the invite to the challenged reader ~ sounds interesting x
Hi, thanks for joining my friends, hope all is well with you xxxx
Nominees for the September title are up at the Good Reads Book Group!
June nominations are now up on the Good Reads book Group page. Please vote by April 15th! Remember, if you want to be the next person that nominates, you must take part in a discussion for April's book OR vote in Junes! We will pull a name out of a hat to be July's nominator!
I noticed you have read Lovely Bones. if you liked that book at all, you might enjoy reading The Mercy of Thin Air by R. Domingue. It is her first book and 'very entrancing'. I couldn't put it down and gave it 5 stars.
dear sleep,
i think that you are a great lady. regards, yours, khan. waiting !!!
May nominees have been posted on the Good Reads Book Group! Make sure to stop by and vote by March 17th! Remember, everyone who votes gets a chance to be the next member to select nominees for the following month. Our April winner was "Soul Catcher" by Michael C. White. Discussion will begin on April first.
Hi Kath,
Thought I'd say hello to you here for a change. I'm so glad to see someone else who hates We Need To Talk About Kevin, I thought it was just me!
Hope you're OK, hugs to you,
Claire
