Librarian working in IT (for public libraries) in Brisbane. I love to read pretty much anything (except for violence and horror) and love to broaden my horizons.

Drop me a line and say hello! Unless you're trying to sell me your book or anything else, then you can just go away.

    Hey Sleepy,

    How goes it?

Just started school this week and the body is exhausted but the mind is racing – overall it feels terrific to be back in the classroom.

This summer my latest book was released – “Roam Italy: A Teacher and His Students Take the Ultimate Class Trip.” The book’s website is www.theclassroombook.com if you wanted to check things out.

Possible tornado warnings in NJ this weekend so I best head for cover…

just finished one hell of an awesome book - and as you were clueless if there was some quality in the ranks of twisted writing styles like the one of david mitchell's, i can now recommend you Mark Z. Danielewski's House Of Leaves. (Mitchell's very own ghostwritten is grea too btw :))

    hey there

i saw your comment on Cloud Atlas and wanted to know if you can recommend anything alike, for i love mitchell's book so much, i want more of this style. may it be with those interlaced episodes, may it be intertwining characters or the brilliant style of making fiction so tangible. or all of it.

    thx already :)

    cheers, xxx

I noticed you have read Lovely Bones. if you liked that book at all, you might enjoy reading The Mercy of Thin Air by R. Domingue. It is her first book and 'very entrancing'. I couldn't put it down and gave it 5 stars.

Remember, everyone who votes gets a chance to be the next member to select nominees for the following month. Our April winner was "Soul Catcher" by Michael C. White.
