I write in order to grab all those great comebacks I sometimes miss in real life (but I often grab them with perfect timing too!) I'm a writer, freelance copyeditor/proofreader for other writers, and a former library cataloguer. I live with my husband of many years, an EMT and welder, a man who no longer twitches when I ask, "How long does it take to bleed to death?" or "How do you disable a big piece of equipment?" I love to write about danger and attraction, a powerful combination, and I usually set my books in warm climates. I'm a Five Star Expressions author, an imprint of Thomson Gale. They published Sanctuary and River of Dreams. I'm also with Ulverscroft/Linford large print and Hard Shell Word Factory. Short stories are still my first love and I sell them on a regular basis. In my spare time I do walk aerobics or the occasional round of Tae-Bo, and I and read English mysteries. I belong to a mystery readers' group at my local library to get me out of my reading rut.
