I have had "alot" of interruptions this week, I have not even read a book in the last week, yikes! Tonight, all will be quite and I can read and get caught up on my blogs. I have only recently made a personal discovery of Chaucer and poetry. I was introduced to some in college, but decided to make my personal summer study on poetry, including Chaucer, Shakespeare, and several others. Interesting thing has happened I've fallen in love with poetry, I did not expect this. Yes, most of the readers I know (many people also I know do not read at all) are not interested in the classics, they want a mystery, romance, something easy. They always ask me are you a teacher? aren't those the kind of books that we read back in school? My former British Lit. professor tells me she is proud of me, she thinks I should have become a teacher. But I took a different road, I've cared for my aging parents the last 11 years.
