I love to read; books are my life. In fact, I usually can't even eat without gripping a book in the other hand. I have to thank my dad for introducing me to books. He started me out on Archie comics and then introduced Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys to me and I've been in love with books of any genre since then. Be warned- I am a self proclaimed... more »

I can't get it to pull up either. For the past month, Shelfari's search feature has been broken - no word from Shelfari staff on what the problem is and whether or not they are trying to fix it. For now, wait on trying to do the combine until after the search feature is fixed. Thanks

I know what you mean. I think Poison Study was the best book in the first series. Magic Study wasn't bad, but Fire Study was a bit draining. So much travel and battle, very little actual character development. In fact, I think Yelena actually was weaker at the end. Opal was an interesting character, but I'm not sure I'll pick up the Glass series anytime soon.

The Glass series is a followup to the Study series, it follows the story of Opal. I want to read those too, but I'm not sure I want to download them for the Kindle like I did with the Study series. We can talk about these the next time I see you.

Okay, so I looked at my copy of Little Women. The first sentence Amy speaks is the same as your edition. The edition I have is from the edition that was printed in 1868 and 1869. The "lady-like" edition was printed in 1880. I'm sure we'll find a way to compare further later.
