Marley and Me made me cry my eyes out too. So sad! And then I watched the movie in the theatre on Christmas Day and the entire theater was bawling their eyes out at the end. Even me, even though I knew how it ended!

    Morning Shy,
Thanks so much for the e-book.. Will start reading once I got my laptop back ;)

I bought The Nanny by Melissa Nathan online just now.. It is used and cheap too ;D Can't wait to read!!

Em, I think Patterson will be on hold too..I haven't read any title from him yet.. Since, you know what kind of genre that I usually read.. hehe..

Marley and Me, watched the movie but haven't read it yet but lots of people said that too.. Whoa! There are so many good books I haven't read. I think I should allocate more of my monthly allowance to buy all those books.. haha.. *Thanks God my parents understand how book maniac I am*

Have you read any books from Madeline Wickham? Is that correct spelling..?
and i can see some people read Randa Abdel Fattah's books.. Is she good? I believe she's an Arabian aite?

Emm.. I've read one book from Lauren Weisberger, The Devil Wears Prada of course.. Have you read other than TDWP? Chasing Harry Winston maybe, best tak eh? If yes, I want to grab one.. ;)

and one more, Candace Bushnell! She's good writer you know.. already read Four Blondes, finding time and MONEY to buy another two books i.e Trading Up and One Fifth Avenue.. ;D

I liked them a lot. The author did a lot of research and managed to combine a lot of legends/historic figures into one tale and not make the premise seem completely ridiculous. There's a lot of action going on as well so you won't get too bored reading it either and there are memorable characters that will keep you interested because you want to know what happens to them.

Em, I haven't heard about Meg Cabot's new release.. If yes, I'll definitely grab one for myself..

For a time being, I really want to try other books, Melissa Nathan perhaps? ;)

I have yet to tackle Sophie's World, though it is currently sitting on my bookshelf. And I think I haven't tried to read it yet, because of exactly that reason: I assume it will take a while to read and probably hurt my brain a little in the process! Haha:) Are you enjoying it though?

    Shy,

syok kat blog sampai lupa kat sini.. ;D

Mike Gayle and Lisa Jewell haven't arrived yet.. ;( so, am thinking of buying other books but don't know which book..

yes, I didn't put all the book i've read on the shelf, only the recent books that i had read..

about Valerie Frankel, actually not all her books are good.. some just OK.. here are some books of hers that I think you should read:
    1. I Take This Man.. *this is the 1st book that i read* (MUST READ)
    2. Hex and the Single Girl

Smart VS Pretty just a typical sibling rivalry story but if you like the rivalry mix with mystery, you should read this.. Personally, Meg Cabot is way better than Frankel ;D

Do you read Little Black Dress books? I would like to recommend this romance comedy book, It Should Have Been Me by Phillipa Ashley..

What a boring and dull life am having here without books.. now it's beading time i think ;D

    Hi again ;)

frankly speaking, I was forced to read The City of Glass, it's for my Literature class.. and no I didn't read the series.. City of Glass was very hard to understand though and my lecturer gave us the graphic novel to help us but still the story was kinda ... ;D

about Twilight, i think I will borrow one from my friend since she's the no. 1 fan of twilight.. once i have the chance to read it, i'll tell you my opinion.. thanks for sharing ;)

I can't remember which books i'd read but i'd read a lot of her books because most of her books kinda related to each other.. well, it almost 3 years ago and i don't think i can remember any.. hehe..

harlequin novels are the ones with yummeh sexy pictures on the cover.. haha.. yes, basically the books were published by harlequin enterprises.. am not sure myself whether the books are called harlequin but almost books with covers illustrated as such published by Harlequin.. that explains why i called those books harlequin novels ;D

How I wish I have my interest in such novel like Twilight Saga because I haven't watched the movie you know.. Should I try to read at least one book of that kind?

I've remembered the author's name, Johanna Lindsey!

Nicholas Sparks? Haven't read any from him.. Do you? How's him? good?

    Do you read harlequin novels?

    such a hectic week.. ;D

What fantasy novels you've been reading so far? Mind sharing? ;)

I don't know.. I'm thinking of buying something from Marian Keyes.. Have you read any book from her? Is she good? because I can see that she wrote so many books and the titles are very attractive indeed.

When do you think you'll get yours? ;)

    Happy Holiday Shy!* ;D

hello back. thanx for the invite. heheh... mmg ada join shelfari n tp sorang kawan pun xde.. i dont have much frens yg ulat buku. just my mom n sis.

nk komen ttg buku dari C. Ahern; buku dia agak slow... the only book from her that I read was P/s I love you. tu pun orang bagi... xteringin sangat nak bc cos bace 2,3 muka awal dah rase boring [mcm buku2 dia yg len gak]

my favorite author is Sandra Brown. Maybe because she is also my mom's favorite. u shud try read some of her books.. the thick ones.. kalo buku yang nipis2, kisah love romance je mostly... kalo tebal, ada suspense2.. mmg best ah

    Morning dear Shy,

If you could see me now? Haven't read because I have my own copy of A Place Called Here and what more I can say other than to agree with you.. A Place Called Here really makes me lost.. It is hard to understand the storyline right? and since then I lost my interest in her novels.. That explains why I haven't read If You Could See Me Now.. I just read the first 3 chapters then I gave up.. ;D

OMG! I think I should buy both Love Eternally and Rebel Fairy.. (I like the "hilarious" part ;D) Can't waitt!!

Yes, most people asked me why don't I just borrowed the books instead of wasting my money buying them.. Personally, if i just borrowed the books, the real feeling of reading isn't there.. I reckon you'll agree with me.. ;) and the word "waste" never exists in my life if it's about books, right my book mate? ;D

Fantasy book other than HP? I think none.. when HP series ends, I'm finished with fantasy.. ;D

Salam Aidiladha to you too.. Lets have a great time tomorrow, friend ;) Take Care..

    Hi hi!
I think I should lay my hands on McNaught and Wright.. sound interesting..i'd read one or two from McNaught if i'm not mistaken but i can't remember which titles..My sister reads Nora Roberts..

from a time being, I don't have any book to read.. still waiting for Mike Gayle and Jewell.. i think i should give my eyes a good rest since i had been tortured them non-stop before I start reading again.. ;D

but, frankly speaking, I can't live without having book to read.. i feel something missing..We are the REAL BOOKWORMS, aren't we? ;D

I think I should start hunting for Love Eternally.. this book really attracts my interest.. Where did you buy the copy of yours? Is there any place recommended to find it?

I LOVE Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern.. it comes in various titles.. Love, Rosie = Where Rainbows End = Rosie Dunne.. these three titles are actually the same book.. You MUST have a copy of this! really! the love story is very different from other typical love story.. If you'd read PS I Love You..I bet you'll like this better.. ;)

i wouldnt dare say if they are really interesting..i can give 3/5 star..the plot is a bit (or maybe a lot) slow but i love the characters (how she extract/put other characters from lots of fantasy books are amazing) as i like reading fantasy ..

the story is lack of adventure as i thought about it to be more exciting at least like the movie..sometime i have to force the eagerness in me to read it as there is no addiction to turn to another page (sometime there are excitement but very few).. and i'm not really captivated to read it compared harry potter..

but it is up to you..maybe you will have other opinion or you think in different way once you read it..and maybe you can prove me wrong.. =p

well, i couldn't agree more..i finished reading all 4 books of twilight saga in 3 days..i just cant put it even when i think my head was actually could spin..i still find myself dig in to read the books till the end and breaking dawn really make me a bit satisfied because the ending is nice.

i prefer reading romance novels when i want a bit of light reading.and i wish i could just read forever..like you said, you cant find anything else to do when you start reading..

i never read any of the picoults. but i heard she's very good..i wanted to but i have to restrain myself a bit because i am in a due to finish my loads of works..the current i'm reading now is the thief lord by cornelia funke..have you read any of hers?

Hi! I have actually only read his book, Coraline, which I enjoyed! I would definitely recommend it. The other Neil Gaiman books on my shelf are ones that I plan to read (in fact I have four checked out from the library now- Stardust, The Graveyard Book, American Gods and Anansi Boys) so I will let you know what I think of those once I have read them! Happy Reading! :)
