oh, okayyy :p .Hurmm, no specific reasons, just that, I like story about live more. Not that I'm totally not into romance ;) Depends on the story itself ( and the mood I'm in too. hehe ) .I am one of her fans too. :) Up till this very moment, I've just read four of her piece of work . looking forward for more ;) If You Could See Me Now is on my list too =D I'll give it a try. It's just a matter of time, :p. I enjoyed reading The Gift too :) I almost cried actually. :( When I read the part that he told his daughter not to be naughty, he'll go somewhere. Well, can't really remember, but it's some kind of like that. :p

    See you around! :)

    Hello Shy!

thanks for the request. Are you a Malaysian as well? :) well, to be honest I just started to read novels a year ago. (yeah, never had the thought to be hooked on novels before. :p ) I didn't like reading back then, well, not as much as I do now. :). My first novel was The Gift by Cecelia Ahern. It's a great novel with a strong message too, I think. I don't really like lovey dovey kind of novels ;) I am still a student, so, yeah, i need to find time to read, usually, on weekends.Looking forward to reading some novels from your shelf! :)

Well, that's about it. Share yours! Xx

Oh. You should read Dear John. It was my first time reading Sparks' novel and I was hooked! I never thought that I'll be saying this, but I would buy more of Sparks' pieces after this :) I've finished reading Remember Me, and yeah, I agree with you. I don't really like the ending, but it has some funny moments though. Managed to read it in 4 days (that's the shortest time I spend for reading a book, it's a record I guess. Hehe) I haven't got a chance to buy Can You Keep a Secret? yet, but I'm planning to complete the whole Shopaholic Series and the other two books by Miss Kinsella herself :)

As for Learning Curve, it will be my next year's reading stock, so, looking forward to read it! But, is that true that the author herself is dead? If it's true, it's a big great loss huh?

Well, not all of the books I bought during the sale, but most of em, yeah. I went crazy just seeing all the books, but I managed to grab about 20 books only. Not all the books that I wanted were available. I recommend you to go to BookXcess in Amcorp Mall, PJ to get really cheap books with reasonable prices. Go and check them out! :)

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I'm quite busy lately. But I managed to finish reading Dear John by Nicholas Sparks and right now I'm reading Remember Me by Sophie Kinsella. Have you read those two books?

Oh. I managed to grab Learning Curve and Acting Up by Melissa Nathan. Are they any good?

Yay! Its a good buy then. I simply can't wait to read it. Unfortunately no, the Clockwork Angel book are nowhere to be found. I've been searching for it on every stacks.

Me too. I've read great reviews that's why I grab that series on the sale. But those books have to wait. I must finish my last assignment first before I can get my hand on those books. *sigh* My fingers are itching to touch them though. Hihi.

I'm sure there will be another one next year. Most of the books I bought are series and trilogy.
There are other books from some author I'm not familiar with that I bought. Just want to give it a try.
I bought Cassandra Clare's books too. I heard many good reviews about her books.
I see you've read hers. What do you think about them?

It's hard to buy fantasy books since most of them come in series. But I still love it anyway.
I'm sure you had read so many fantasy books. I've read some of the reviews from your blog & shelf. :)

This short story inspirational book was written to share, empower, strengthen and give inspiration, hope to all survivors of life related issues. This is a must read for all who have survived and need a will to keep surviving.

This book goes into a true story of how the Author survived from childhood to adulthood when she wasn't even aware that she remained standing while she was surviving.

In life we often face so many obstacles through years without even noticing that we were standing through it all.

Hey Shy! Sorry for the late reply though. I was kinda busy lately, but I managed to finish reading "A Place Called Here".
Well, in my opinion I think that the book is not that bad. I mean, I understand the story plot quite well compared to "The Gift", as I was having quite a hard time to get the whole story, but yeah, I think I kinda like the story where missing persons and things stranded in a placed called Here. The ending is predictable, but I enjoyed reading it. :)

Btw, did you go to the Big Bad Wolf Sale? I went there on the second and third day and I managed to get "City of Bones" and "City of Glass" for RM8 each! How cheap is that? And I managed to grab some Melissa Nathan's books too. I was having a blast despite knowing that my saving's money is running low but what the heck, it was only once a year. I've vowed myself that I won't be buying books until the next sale, or else I have to eat books for dinner. :D

Yeah. I just finish the first one. Its a pretty good read.
But a bit short though. I expect this series is for younger readers.

I went to the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale that I told you earlier. Manage to grab tons of books.
I go completely crazy there. That's where I bought the Garth Nix's books.
But I only manage to find the Seventh Tower series. My friend recommend to read Abhorsen chronicles.
Sadly I couldn't find any of them there.

I love fantasy and horror books. Though I still enjoy other books as well.
    How about you?

p/s: Salam Eidul Adha too. :)

So this Raya Haji, doing a readathon too? I bet you read anytime you have the chance lol...

Actually I will start my studies this December. I was supposed to register last July but I found out late that I got in so I decided to postpone it. And I also do sell shawls and stuff like perfume and 'tudung ekin' lol. It is hard this business thing and actually I am so not a business person too. My brother is, I am so not! That is why I chose to continue my studies and do what I really like doing which is teaching ^_^

Hajar... Nice name... Well, obviously my you can call me Nurul lol ;)
