    Hi:

I thought you might be interested in a contest. It’s wacky, creative and ‘killer’ fun. ‘Create a Corpse’ Contest lets you name a character in my suspense novel Divine Justice. Of course, you guessed it—the character dies

For contest details, just scroll over the following URL, copy and paste into your browser. This is a great contest for avid readers who’d like to be part of the process. I look forward to receiving your entries. :)

Thought you might be interested in this:
As part of my month-long virtual book tour, today's special treat is an excerpt from my new bestseller Whale Song, a novel that will change the way you view life...and death.

So drop by my host site, sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy the prologue and first chapter.

    I ONCE FEARED death.
It is said that death begins with the absence of life. And life begins when death is no longer feared. I have stared death in the face and survived. A survivor who has learned about unfailing love and forgiveness. I realize now that I am but a tiny fragment in an endless ocean of life, just as a killer whale is a speck in her immense underwater domain...

    Read the excerpt.

Hey there! Thanks for adding me, and yes, I'm an Edmonton published author...with a new bestseller out.

You have more than likely seen me around the last few years at the bookstores. I'm probably the most active of Edmonton authors for book signings. :) (At least that's what the store managers tell me...hehe...I'm just a sucker for meeting fans!)

And wow...we have some other connections too...I have a friend who works for Coca-Cola, and my MOTHER (yes, my mother...who is 65..or maybe 66...I forget) is also playing on WOW...and has been for a few years. I don't know her screen name though. She's on there till near into the morning! I call her Cyber-Slu*. lolol

Hey...I used to be a Pampered Chef consultant...I think I recognize your living room.

    (lol...ok, just joking)

Check out my sites sometime...and be sure to introduce yourself if you see me at a signing. I will be at over 40 in Edmonton between September and December. And I organize Authors' Row at the Edmonton Women's Show. (men go to it too!)

And hey, I'm also the Canadian Author Liaison with Infinity Publishing (although I've never published with them) and I can give you an info package on a publishing option sometime.

    Cheers,
    Cheryl Kaye Tardif

    Shirtninja,

I will keep an eye out and an ear to the ground for conventions in your area and Canada in general. I've always wanted to visit. I'll let you know if anything comes up. Thanks for your interest.

    ShirtNinja,

I'm always looking for new conventions to attend. They fill up very early though. I would love to attend one in Canada/The West. What region are you in? I'll keep an eye out.
