This booktouches you when you read it. It is one you can pick up again and again. If you get the opportunity, read it.

This was an interesting book to read, but I did have trouble sometimes staying with the switch in narrator. It follows a family with several members who have special powers. It was partically good in describing the country after the revolutions. I would read it again.

This is not the exact vomume I read. I have the 20th anniversary edition Sept. 2010.
I found this book facinatting to read. The travel this one woman experience into her past lives was astounding. I haven't been a beleiver in reincarnation but this book has me questioning that belief. How Dr. Weiss explains what is happening makes it very real. I plan on reading more.

This is an excellent book about a young girl with powers she was ashamed she possessed. She had to leave her mother's house and go live with her Grandmother who shared her gift. You follow the girl through the ups and downs of her dealing with her psychic abilities. Easy reading.

  • Child of Promise (Brides of Culdee Creek, Book 4)
    • Rated 5 stars

This was the fourth and final book in this series and I loved every one of them. Kathleen Morgan followed the woman of Culdee Creek Ranch through thier life with all of the trials and tribulations that happen with life. Child of Promise is about Beth McKay leaving the ranch and going to New York to Medical School at a time when woman were not readily accepted and the fact she was half indian just added to her trauma. This shows the richness of faith and how when your down, other people of faith are there to support you. I would highly recommend this series to read. It's very enjoyable.

I loved this book. It kept my attention all the way through. A young woman's dreams keep getting sidetracked by one problem after another. She has three men wanting her attentions, but that wasn't what she always wanted either. I would recommend this book to the ladies. It is well worth the read.

  • The Endless Hour: The True Story of a Haunted Soul
    • Rated 4 stars

This was a very intense, clearly written, book to read. This books takes you through the life of a tormented spirit, by the name of Jessee Battles. He takes you down a winding path of what he sees and hears. I believe you have to have an open mind and heart when you read this book. It will certainly get your attention. I would recommend this book for reading.

  • King Solomon's Mines (Great Illustrated Classics)
    • Rated 4 stars

This book is excellent in telling of the story of the journey. I can't help but compare it to the movies I have seen, and there really isn't a comparison. The first movie with Stewart Granger followed the book a little closer than the one with Richard Chambertain. There was so much detail it brought me into the book. I could visualize the characters from the descriptions. As long as this book as been available I had never taken the time to read it. I should have done it a long time ago.

    Grave Injustice

    by Jada Penn
    • Rated 5 stars

I love this story about boy finds girl, girl avoids boy, and then they get together after tragedy. That is what you call "the bare bones." Jada is an excellent writer. She gets you involved in this story though working with the charcters in such detail. This book has romance, murder, mystery, and supernatual phenomenon. I wasn't disapointed at all.
