It's been so long since I read it. What stuck with me is the difference in him and his siblings, some of his character traits and the ending, of course. I heard years ago that they were going to make a movie, but could not get a boy talented enough to play Ender. That's a shame; maybe it'll happen one day. This is a total side note, but you look rockin' awesome with long hair!!! I supose it's time I update my pic too.

    Hey Shi,
When I was looking at your most recently added books I noticed you've read Ender's Game. Then I remembered I've read it, too! What did you think? I was quite impressed myself.

So, did "The Richest Man in Babylon" change your life? Did you learn a lot? Worth taking the time to read? (I need to make money)!

It's Russian literature which means everyone has like 3 different names so it can get a little confusing :) I enjoyed it but it was a little odd and you definitely would not condone the way the main character justifys the murders he commits. The dialog between the characters is very witty and entertaining (but sometimes really drags on) kind of like this comment :)

I would recommend Watership Down. It is just a nice feel-good book. (Its about rabbits, though, so beware). By the way, this is so much fun. I wanted to spend all day adding books to my shelf, but I only had a minute. I am so excited!

My favorite Charlotte Mason books are Home Education and School Education, which are the first and third in the series by her. They explain why she thought what she thought better than anyone else can try to explain what she thought, I think. But they do not get straight to the point, she tries to extablish her case before presenting most ideas.

    Hi Shiloh,

How do you like "For the Children's Sake?" I hate to admit I have never finished that one. I have probably made it halfway through and I pick it up every now and then, but there is something about her writing style that I'm not fond of and I always lay it aside again. I like the subject matter, though =).
