I'm not at all interested in joining any groups in here. I belong to a TON already elsewhere and don't even keep up with those. I'm trying to reduce my number of book groups, not increase them. So don't be offended, but most likely if I receive a group invite, I will decline it.

I'm Kelley and I live in the DFW area with my three...more »

    HI There:

Thanx for the last coresspondence. But I want to ask....if you ever read the book entitled: The Giver, By Lois Lowery? It is a very good, and interesting book. If you have not read it. Please, would you, if it's indeed that you would like to read, look into it?

Hi. I usually look for people that I have a lot in common with on their shelves, usually falls in like 10-20%, some even pushing 30%. That way we have sharing interests, new ideas ...
On YOUR shelf, I have 1(one)% commonality.
I just thought that was really humorous.
If there's two people who don't, as far as reading interests are concerned at least,
    have anything in common,
I guess it would be you and I.

Nice to meet you - in passing.

    Mam....

I have 6 groups that I have started myself. And each of those groups are a necessity. In the entire time I have been invloved with this site....I have only sent invitations out 6 times, that's 6 times in two or three years. I just sent one recently, I think yesterday. But I do that....because I have so many friends, that I cannot go down the list to hand pick each and everyone. But you are wrong....I never
just send anyone invite for group signings alone. I make it a practice to contact my friends....each and every one of them For you see,

I....Believe a friend is a friend, no matter how I have come to meet them. At Mcdonalds"s, Burger Kings....On the corner, waiting for the bus....even if we have been involved in a fender bebder, I still consider one my friend! I have selected you, because we had some books in common. To talk about books, well, that to is a passion that we both share....I am kinda of a talkitive kinda guy anyway! But I have never, I repeat, never, have disrespected you in anyway.

But I can understand why some guys would become interested in you. And that's solely because you are a very, very, very, attactive woman. And men, if you don't mind me saying: Will be men....Or should I say: Males, will be males: But I am so interested in you being my friend. Can we share books, or talk openly abiut the ones we have read? I own a wholesale book distributingship, I sell just about every author and title imaginable.

But I like to be friends with you. But only if you would permit, such a wonderful thing to occur!

    Excuse Me....

I have extended my hand to you, numerous times. I written to say hello, I have asked if I have disrespected you in some way? But never, never have I once, gotten a response from you. Do you wish for me to remove you from my friends list? If we never communicate, even a simple Hello, I cannot see the logic in continuing to be friends. Please, tell me what it is that you would like me to do?

Lupa Says: You Need To Read this book!

Kira Barton swears an oath to the dead girls she will find their killer. What she doesn’t know is that in her pursuit, she will be hurled into the distant past. Balion, Prince of Locke Cress, knows the forest nymph with lavender eyes will come to him. Hasn’t he dreamed of her every night?

Keta Diablo has done a wonderful job weaving this tale of mystery, passion and adventure. With characters that are well developed, well rounded individuals the story flows well and you end up rooting for the heroes and booing the bad guys.

Of course you toss in a definitely not typical history for the heroine's parents and it makes for a great story. This book was a real pleasure to read.

Serial killers, time travel, magic, mayhem, passion, some smoking erotica and a great twist pack the pages of this book to the gills without overwhelming the reader.

I have to admit I will be finding and reading everything by Ms Diablo that I can get my hands on. A great read for a long, cold winter night.

I definitely recommend Simon R. Green. He's a great writer and good with humor and angst. He can be a bit bloody/gory at times, but the humor softens it up. Well I hope you get the chance to get some more reading in before you have to go back to work. I am looking forward to the long weekend to do some reading myself. Happy New Year.
