We don't have too many books in common except the Phillippa Gregory books, so I can't recommend based on your taste. That said though, the Bridget Jones books are light-hearted and laugh-out-loud funny. If you are a fan of Pride & Prejudice, I think you'll appreciate the first book very much, and if you're a fan of Colin Firth, you'll appreciate them both!
About Bridget...it is a light, fun read. I enjoyed it.
"Look To This Day"(from the Sanskrit) Look to this dayFor it is life, the very life of life.In its brief course lie all theVarieties and realities of this existenceThis bliss of growth,The glory of action,The splendour of beauty; For yesterday is only a dreamAnd tomorrow is only a visionBut today well lived makesEvery yesterday a dream of happiness,And every tomorrow a vision of hopeLook well, therefore to this daySuch is the salutation of the dawn.
You read a lot of the same kinds of books I do. Would you like to be friends?
