Yes its very good...I might even like it more than Monkey Beach. Blood Sports picks up the story of some of the characters in one of the short stories in Trap Lines. Have you read that?
I wish she would publish another novel. I am in Eden Robinson withdrawal.

Yep :) I have been keeping track of everything I have read for the past ~18 months with the Visual Bookshelf application on Facebook. But I like Shelfari better, I have decided. So I am slowly adding the books from there to my shelf on here. I can't decide if I should add them all or just what I have read in this calender year. Not that it matters but I am geeky like that and like to keep track of what I have read during specific time periods lol. I can't decide right now if I am going to stick it out with the Flying Troutmans or find some easier or lighter reading fare for the present. I am in a reading mood right now, but not sure what it is I want to read. A dilemma. Have a good weekend!

I just noticed this morning that when I added my three favourites to the favourite shelf that I didn't bother to note I own or read one of them. Gosh, how could I have a book as a fave and not have read it? Such a dolt sometimes. I should be getting in the line for some memory.


I don't know that I have read as much as I did last summer.

I think those are two non thriller titles. I can't say I have liked much of his work starting with Last Man Standing onward. I stopped reading until Split Second which I finished but found rather simplistic. I am reading The Camel Club (bathroom reading it ) currently and other than the Stone character and the other members of the Club I find his writing to be well, stupid. Likely he is trying to give a rah rah propaganda crap novel while attempting to have characters tell us information that enforces stereo types and an us/them mentality.

It is too bad because his early books were page turners.
