i love reading (obviously). my earliest memory involves me reading and i'd probably grow old and be on my deathbed still reading... i dabble in writing too but it's in reading that i find my solace. i've travelled far and wide... i've been to many places and met some interesting people without leaving my couch or bed... and when i do move about, i have a book or two to accompany me in my trip...

i'm a moody reader. though i stick with the classics, i often choose stories or plots or topics that reflect what i feel or want to feel at the moment... quirky characters and favorite places also motivate me and fuel my imagination...

i'm infatuated with the beauty and ingenuity of the structure of a book... the feel of it, the crisp pages teasing my fingertips, the slight breeze that touches my face as i rapidly flip and graze my thumb through the edge of its pages... the sound and look of its spine as it opens up to me, enveloping me in a world that i gobble up both in haste and in lingering anticipation... « less
