My 2013 Reading Goals:
- Quantity Challenge: 40 books

In no particular order -- I'm a frustrated writer, avid blogger, movie buff, bookworm, and couch potato all rolled into one! :)
I do sooo love to read. I remember when i was still a student, whiling away the time during the commute by reading. Back then, I could finish a thick paperback in just one sitting. I could forego sleep just to finish whatever book it was that I was engrossed in. Aaahhh... those were the days. Nowadays, it takes me AGES to finish a book. I'm lucky if I can finish a book in a month! But who can I blame but myself, for the hectic life I lead. *sigh*
Reading relaxes me. That's why I try to read before going to sleep. On my nightstand are a number of books, all half-finished. I also have on hand, loads of women's magazines (Self, Oprah, GH, Cosmo, InStyle, LHJ, Redbook, Shape, etc.), for those times when I just want to leaf through the pages and read the short articles, or look at the pics. Nothing cerebral. :)
On my bookshelves are a wide variety of books. From those books which were required reading in grade school and high school, fiction or non-fiction, inspirational, Psychology books, self-help, suspense, comedy, love stories, literary classics, books on parenting, exercise, food/cooking/baking... ahhh, the love of reading...
